Big Thursday!

Max took the day off work today and we went to see Shrek the Third with Hailey and Karlie. We give it a 3 out of 4 thumbs up! It had plenty of laughs for the adults and kept Hailey very interested. Karlie on the other hand, became bored about half way through and all she cared about was getting more popcorn and some candy! Cute movie but not exactly worth what it cost to go to the show these days. We went at the "cheap time"(before noon during the week) and payed the low price of $30.00!!! Not to mention $10 more for popcorn. We vote you rent it on DVD.

The other big news of the day is that the BRONCO SOLD for full asking price. Max had 4 people email him within 24 hours of posting it!

Max is now off to watch the Rockies with long time buddy Brad. So a pretty nice day all in all.

Biker Babes

Bike fever has taken over our house. Even the baby thinks she is biker chick!

Future Fashion Designer

Karlie has always been one to care about dressing herself. This was her pick one morning.

Bye, bye Bronco

It's been a great ride! Unfortunately, it's time for the beloved Bronco to go. It officially went up for sale on Monday. Hopefully one day soon Max will get a new "big boy toy" that doesn't require so much time to keep running. We will miss the summer rides around town for sure and have fond memories of off road travels.

Hailey's Bike Cam

Hailey learned to ride without training wheels this week!

Kaitlin's Dedication

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.... And he took the children in his arms, put his hand on them and blessed them." (Mark 10:14 & 16)

On Sunday May 27th, we had Kaitlin dedicated. It was a moving day for us as we stood before God, our family, friends, and church to say we would do our best to bring Kaitlin and her sisters up to know and love God. We pray that we are filled with the fruits of the spirit so that we may set a good and righteous example for them.

Hair Cuts!

Hailey the pro.

It was big day. Two out of the 3 girls got their first hair cuts. Yes, Karlie and Kaitlin got their first hair cut on the same day. Karlie has never had much hair. Hailey also got a trim for the summer. She has decided to grow her bangs out so on with the barretts.
Kaitlin's before and after.

Karlie's transformation.

I am first and foremost a mom to 3 girls and also work part time as a Labor and Delivery nurse. My main hobby right now is training for the Tri for the Cure Triathlon in August. I have never been one to work out, so this has been a fun challenge. I also enjoy sewing and knitting, but rarely have time and am not very good at either of them. I like to start a lot of projects but am not so good on the follow through. As Max says, "all it lacks is finishing"!

Kaitlin turns 1!

Princess Kaitlin

Kaitlin is our 3rd precious princess. She just turned one but is going on 5! She is trying to keep up with her older sisters. She already plays with babies, tries to color and can be found wearing tiaras. Her favorite thing to do is eat. She is a mommy's girl. We call her our little monkey or boo.

Karlie is 3 years old. She loves playing with baby dolls and shopping. She has more shoes than I do and can spot a target from miles away. She is full of energy and always on the go. She is a fish and has no fear of water. She has earned the nick name of Krazy Karlie from her fearless approach and toughness. Since her birthday is on St. Patrick's Day, she has learned to love everything green. Her favorite pillow and blanket were made by her Aunt Anna and are shamrock print. We have affectionally renamed the Good Luck Care Bear as Kar-Kar Bear.

Just getting started....

After seeing my sister-in-law's blog, I thought it would be fun to have a family blog spot to share all our precious moments. So we are now under construction!! Welcome to MKHKK.
