A Taste of Summer

It has been unseasonably cool here in Colorado this spring and we finally got our first real taste of summer this weekend when temperatures were in the upper 80's with the sun shining. We enjoyed some outside time with the kids. They wanted a picnic one day, so they set it up under the trees in the back yard. Sunday they broke out the dual headed slip and slide. Kaitlin was not too hot on the idea of slipping down an icy cold piece of plastic, but Hailey and Karlie did it for hours. The weekend ended as it does every night with story time and hugs and kisses goodnight.

I seriously cannot get over the fact that you have 3 girls...and ONE boy. That is just too cool for words! hehe What a lucky little man he is!

PLEASE soak some extra rays for me. Or maybe could you just send some this way please?? I'm going to drown myself in the rain if the sunshine doesn't come out soon!! ahhhhhh!!

I have so many fond memories of the slip 'n slide! Can't wait until Cate can do it too! How adorable is that picture of Max and the girls and him holding his little boy. How sweet.

80's??? We really dont' get much below that ever here in good ol' Texas. It's been in the high 90's...and it felt like 120 yesterday. I love the sun and warm weather, but 80 would be nice about right now. Cute pictures of the slip and slide. I love their facial expressions. You can see how excited and happy they are to be sliding on that cold plastic. ;0)
