Phoenix Wonderland

December in Phoenix is a strange thing.  The kids were outside jumping on the tramp in their shorts and tank tops.  Not exactly what Christmas time conjures up in one's mind but the kids seem to be handling it ok.
Today the kids had their Christmas program at church where they sang Phoenix Wonderland.  It was very clever and cute.  Hank turned toward the band and rang his jingle bells for most of his song.  I got some great shots of the back of his head. :)
Palm trees wave, are you listenin'
In the pool, water's glistenin'
A warm sunny day, we like it that way
Livin' in a Phoenix wonderland
Gone away is the blizzard
Here to stay is the lizard
A warm sunny day, we like it that way
Livin' in a Phoenix wonderland
In the desert we can have a picnic
Cactus, sand, rattlesnakes and sun
Christmas dinner is an old tradition
It's pinto beans and tacos by the ton

Later on, we'll perspire
Temperatures rise even higher
A warm sunny day, we like it that way
Living in a Phoenix wonderland

Hilarious. I sang it in my head while reading. ;0) If it makes you feel better it's not cold here either. ;)

When can I visit? ;)
Cute pics. Love the red and black. And so nice you've found a church already!
