A Pot Of Gold At The End Of A Rainbow

We took a little hike to Fish Creek Falls one morning.
The kids loved playing on the rocks and jumping over the stream.
Only problem was the little ones wanted to do it too.
 Flying Karlie!
 Dippin Hank!
After the hike we went to Strawberry Hot Springs Park.
We had never been but Chrysti and Scott had visited the natural springs and told us how great it was.  It was heavenly.  They had a cool, medium and really hot pool.  The kids desperately tried to catch little fish with their bare hands in the cool pool while the adults could lounge in the sun and relax in the warmer pools.  I could have stayed there all day surrounded by beautiful forest and wonderful, natural hot springs.  We may have to try Steamboat in the winter just so we can soak in the snow.
We finished up our time together watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.
The kids were bouncing off the walls!
It rained our final afternoon but gave us this beautiful rainbow.  This pretty much sums up the way I feel about our time in Steamboat, a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
