How Kaitlin Spent Her 9th Birthday

For breakfast the birthday girl wanted a circle cake, which is an egg in the middle of a pancake.  This is a daddy special.
With it being her golden birthday, she had golden Oreos, gold fish and a heart sandwich with a chocolate gold coin on it to symbolize her heart of gold.
Dinner was her standard favorite of Costco's rotisserie chicken, shells and white cheddar, and fruit salad.  So exciting, I forgot to take a picture.
Her siblings made her many nice cards and showered her with love.
Her favorite gift was a Fitbit.  There is a Fitbit movement in our family and she is the latest victim.  Max, Hailey, and Karlie have one.  And then there were two...
Apparently there is a lemon pie movement happening too.  Kaitlin wanted one for her and one for the rest of us to share.  But she wanted her whip cream to be pink!
I sure hope this doesn't mean I will have to smash my face in a pie too.
My precious girl you are worth more than your weight in gold.  We love you so much and are blessed to have watched you grow these last 9 years.
